The current active COVID-19 cases in Bacolod and Negros Occidental has almost reached the 1,000 mark after the Department of Health reported 136 new cases.

Airlines forced to cancel their scheduled trips to Bacolod today due to the extension of ECQ in NCR+ and the issuance of travel moratorium for Region 6.

Various government offices in Bacolod and Negros Occidental are currently on lockdown after a number of their personnel were exposed to COVID-19 positive patient.

The governor reiterated his earlier request to IAFT to halt land, sea and air travel from Cebu due to a significant increase of COVID-19 cases in the area.
