Capitol on lockdown after Prov’l Incident Mgt head tested positive of COVID-19

Several offices in Capitol were placed on lockdown today, March 26, after its head for Provincial Incident Management Team tested positive of the corona virus.

Capitol confirmed that Dr. Zeaphard Gerhart Caelian and his 3 personnel tested positive for the virus. Caelian is now on isolation and remains asymptomatic.

Caelian was seen with Atty. Diaz yesterday at the Social Hall.

Caelian is supposed to get his first dose of COVID vaccine today. Yesterday, Caelian also held a meeting at the Capitol Social Hall, presided over by Provincial Administrator, Atty. Rayfrando Diaz. The group discusses concerns and updates on travel restrictions and the status of COVID-19 vaccination in the province.

Aside from the Provincial Incident Management Office also on lockdown are offices of the Governor and thevProvincial Administrator’s Office.

The offices will undergo thorough sanitation and disinfection. Regular work will resume on Monday but those identified as close contact are advised to self-isolate.
