VP Leni thanks Gov. Lacson for support, Laban Leni rally slated on 3.11

Presidential candidate and incumbent Vice President Leni Robredo has expressed her gratitude to Gov. Eugenio “Bong” Lacson of Negros Occidental for endorsing her presidential bid.

In a statement posted on her official Facebook page, Robredo thanked Lacson for trusting and supporting her campaign.

She wrote: “Ang pahayag ni Negros Occidental Governor Eugenio Jose “Bong” Lacson ang patunay na hindi basta pangako lang ang pagtataguyod natin ng isang gobyernong tapat; matagal na itong isinasabuhay at patuloy na ikakampeon ni Leni Robredo. Maraming salamat po, Gov. Bong, sa pagtitiwala at sa pagsuporta sa ating kampanya!”

On Monday, February 28, Lacson publicly declared his support for the presidential bid of Robredo, describing her as “trustworthy”. He added: “When we face our ballot on May 9, there’s only one question that we should ask ourselves: Who do we trust?”

Robredo will be in Bacolod City on March 11 for a political rally, according to Laban Leni Negros Occidental.

Lacson confirmed that he will be joining the rally that will took place at Paglaum Sports Complex along Hernaez St in Bacolod, a 2.5 hectare property owned by the provincial government of Negros Occidental.
