SM Prime Holdings, Inc. (SM Prime) is set to open its second major venue, the SM Seaside Cebu Arena, next month in June 2026. The world-class facility is designed to meet global standards for live entertainment, sports, and major conventions.

“The enduring success of the SM MOA Arena shows the strong demand for world-class entertainment venues, so we are bringing that same proven model to Cebu,” said Jeffrey C. Lim, President of SM Prime. “We believe Cebu is a key growth center. This arena will help attract major international events, support local tourism, and drive economic activity for the region.”
Standing seven stories tall with a capacity of up to 25,000 people, the SM Seaside Cebu Arena will be one of the largest indoor arenas in the Philippines. Its flexible event bowl allows for seamless reconfigurations, accommodating both massive stadium concerts and more intimate events to give promoters maximum production versatility.
The arena will feature one of the most advanced center-hung displays in the country, complemented by immersive LED ribbon boards that deliver a 360-degree viewing experience. The venue is also equipped with high-capacity digital infrastructure, including full 5G connectivity, to enable real-time audience engagement and robust production capabilities.
Designed to seamlessly support both front-of-house and back-of-house requirements for major productions, the venue includes premium corporate suites, a dedicated practice court for athletes and performers, and multi-functional breakout spaces for private events.
Located within the expansive SM Seaside Complex, the arena offers direct access to retail, dining, hospitality, and transport hubs. Its proximity to the Mactan-Cebu International Airport establishes it as a prime regional destination for international acts and large-scale global gatherings.
The SM Seaside Cebu Arena has been securing advance bookings since late last year. Confirmed acts for the 2026 inaugural lineup include:
- BINI – July 11
- IV of Spades – July 18
- TJ Monterde & KZ Tandingan – September 5
- LANY – November 6 and 12
