This year’s Chicken Inasal Festival is serving up more than just world-class grilled chicken– it’s bringing a taste of Southeast Asia to the City of Smiles.
Scheduled from May 29 to 31, the three-day culinary and cultural showcase will put a global spin on a local favorite. The highlight of the festivities kicks off on May 30 with an Arena Dance Competition and grand float parade. Seven competing barangays—Barangays 2, 3, 12, Sum-ag, Granada, Estefania, and Tangub—will deliver performances and float designs inspired by various Southeast Asian countries, all while highlighting Bacolod’s iconic chicken inasal establishments.
The festival will officially opens on May 29 at the Manokan Country in SM City Bacolod and it will wrap up on May 31 with a feast for the senses, featuring a highly anticipated chicken inasal cook-off, beer pairing sessions, and public food tastings.
