Sipalay vies for Digital Governance Award

The City Government of Sipalay vies for the 2021 Digital Governance Awards – G2P Category by the Department of Information & Communications Technology (DICT) with the Quick response to Various Infectious Diseases (QVID) Sipalay as its official entry last October 13, 2021 via Zoom platform.

The Digital Governance Award is a national competition that is open to Local Government Units who has provided digital and innovative solutions and programs in underlying problems in their localities.

The Sipalay City team composed of City Information Officer Engr. Efren James S. Lim, Executive Assistant Engr. Praem Mediodia, City Health Officer Dr. Florencio O. Juplo, City Health Office Nurse Mary Cyvelle Anne Yap and ARKITEK CEO Sherwin Aldana pitched QVID Sipalay to a panel of judges. QVID Sipalay is the digital contact tracing and mitigation mobile application suite currently implemented in various government offices and establishments in the city.
