Federation of Filipino-Chinese chambers of commerce roll out COVID vaccination

Bacolod City, Negros Occidental— Three chapters of the Federation of Filipino-Chinese Chambers of Commerce and Industry have officially rolled out today, July 12, their free vaccination program against COVID-19 to over 1,000 members, including those in A4 priority.

This as 2,108 Sinovac vaccines arrived for 1,054 members of the three chambers and their A4 workers. The vaccination started today at St. John’s Institute – Hua Ming with frontliners from Bacolod Queen of Mercy Hospital administering the vaccine.

The vaccines were procured by the chamber and was officially turned over by Zuellig Representative, Maricris Trecho together with Representatives of Federation of Filipino Chinese Chambers of Commerce & Industry Inc., and Bacolod Queen of Mercy Hospital Chief of Operations, Mr. Omar Z. Montejo and Business Development Director, Neifertiti B. Gosiengfiao.

The vaccination will run for 5 days to cover members and workers under FCCCI, the Southern Negros Filipino Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry Inc., and the Northern Negros Filipino Chinese Chamber of Commerce and Industry Inc.

Meanwhile, mall operator Ayala Capitol Central in a Facebook post said that they are nearing 100% in vaccinating their frontliners against COVID-19 as part of their commitment to make the mall a safer place for everyone.

Aside from Ayala Malls, local business operator Chefs & Bakers also confirmed in a Facebook post that 100% of their staff have received their first dose from the city of Bacolod under A4 category.
