To accommodate the surge of application for a vaccine card or International Certificate of Vaccination and Prophylaxis (ICVP), the Bureau of Quarantine is set to open a satellite office in Bacolod City.

This was confirmed by BOQ director Dr. Roberto Salvador Jr. during the Laging Handa Press Briefing to serve those who need a yellow card from the province. Currently, appointments for the yellow card application can only be physically processed in Iloilo for residents of Region 6.

The yellow is a document issued by the BOQ indicating the vaccines taken by an individual which he can present to his country of destination. Request for issuance of such has doubled since the agency opened its application for the vaccine passport against COVID-19 as recognized by the World Health Organization.

The yellow card which costs P300 is not mandatory according to Salvador and only those who are fully vaccinated individuals against COVID-19 can apply for its issuance.

Individuals who wish to apply for the yellow card may book for an online appointment via https://boq.pisopay.com.ph/. Once the online booking is completed, they can go to the BOQ office at their chosen date for them to be issued a yellow card.
