The city of Himamaylan has completed the restoration of a steel hanging bridge in So. Saise, Brgy. Buenavista, shared Mayor Raymund Tingson on his Facebook update.
The mayor posted a ‘then and now’ photos on FB showing the fully restored bridge, yesterday.
It was last September 22, 2020 when the bridge collapsed affecting the movement between the village to the city proper.
Located some 10-kilometers from the city proper, most residents of the village earn a living from planting sugarcane, corn, rice and vegetables.
