A 100-bed capacity facility that will cater to COVID positive patients, particularly those with severe cases was inaugurated by Gov. Eugenio Lacson, Friday, January 28.
The COVID-19 Isolation Facility is located within the provincial government-run Cadiz District Hospital.
A total of 124 COVID patients are currently admitted at the main building of the hospital; some of them will be transferred to the isolation facility.
Gov. Lacson said that Negros Occidental cannot afford to be complacent, and the operation of the isolation facility is proof of the provincial government’s continued vigilance and commitment to protect and provide for the needs of Negrenses.
