Fourteen personnel of Teresita L. Jalandoni Provincial Hospital after they were exposed to COVID-positive co-workers.
A nurse and 4 doctors were confirmed to have been contracted by coronavirus.
The hospital management in ad advisory said personnel were placed under quarantine for high-risk exposure as a result of the recent spike in cases among their patients and watchers. This as the national Inter-Agency Task Force also placed the entire of the province under Alert Level 3, effective today, January 16.
In line to this, the hospital management would like to inform the public that they are temporarily suspending OB/Gyne OPD services and limiting admissions to emergency cases only until further notice.
It asks the public to refrain from unnecessary exposure by staying home and observing at least the minimum precaution as cases are beginning to rise in our locality.
