Bacolod City Police Office confirmed that two persons were killed today, February 3, in a separate shooting incident that took place this morning.
Police reports revealed that at around 7AM today, a 23-year-old, female was shot and killed along Oroland Subdivision in Brgy. Tangub.
The victim was identified as Angelica Montalvo, a resident of Brgy. Banago. The victim was rushed to Bacolod Adventist Medical Center, but was declared dead-on-arrival.
According to testimonies gathered by police investigators, a man armed with a revolver boarded the victim’s vehicle along Medical Plaza Building and declared a hold-up. She was then asked to drive her vehicle up to the area where she was gunned down.
Two hours later, a senior citizen in Brgy. 32 was shot and killed by 2 unidentified suspect. Killed was 62-year-old Gerome Sientos.
The victim sustained multiple gunshot wounds and died.
Two separate investigations are on-going to identify the perpetrators.
