Teleperformance in the Philippines successfully concluded its annual support to the Department of Education’s (DepEd) Brigada Eskwela 2024 through its social corporate responsibility arm, Citizen of the World (COTW).

The company mobilized over 242 volunteers nationwide, including a team that refurbished school facilities at Sum-Ag Elementary School in Bacolod City to create a conducive learning environment.

Aside from Bacolod, TP’s Brigada Eskwela activities were also conducted in Cagayan de Oro, Davao, General Santos, Cebu, Baguio, Pampanga, Cavite, and Metro Manila. The company adopted schools in each area to focus its efforts on improving school conditions.

Volunteers from Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao dedicated a combined 1,500 hours to cleaning school grounds, repainting classrooms, and repairing furniture.

Dubbed “TP Dream Builder,” the program saw a 26% increase in volunteer engagement compared to the previous year.

“We are incredibly proud of our employees for their unwavering commitment to giving back to the community,” said Jeffrey Johnson, TP’s Chief People Officer and COTW Chairperson. “Their passion and dedication have made a significant impact on the schools we supported,” he added.
