The city government of Sipalay will be operating under a skeletal workforce starting today until April 4, the local government announced on its Facebook page.
In its advisory, Sipalay government said: “As per the Local IATF Emergency Meeting today, the New Government Center shall operate under SKELETAL workforce on March 29 – 30, 2021 and will resume full operations on April 5, 2021.”
Meanwhile, the following offices will be closed until further notice: Human Resource Management Office, City Treasurers, Budget, Nutrition and City Social Welfare Development.
The local government did not indicate the reason for the closure of the offices, but it can be recalled that Gov. Eugenio Lacson together with other Capitol officers visited the city last March 25 for various activities. This after an officer and members from the Provincial Incident Management Team tested positive for the coronavirus and a portion of Capitol was placed under lockdown for sanitation and disinfection.
But Lacson yielded a negative result after he was swabbed yesterday, March 28.
