As cases of COVID-19 continues to rise, the San Carlos City government thru the City Health Office and the Emergency Operations Center Vaccine Cluster(EOC-VC) already started giving Covid-19 booster shots to fully vaccinated individuals.

The booster program is open to individuals of all priority groups who have already been fully vaccinated for 3 months.

Requirements to avail the booster shot include the vaccination card and screening of recipient’s health history and condition to assure that the individual is fit to get the booster shot.

Hermie Suarez, 71 years old of Barangay 2 said besides the mandate of the state to get inoculated, he chose to be vaccinated to protect himself and his family from the threat of the virus.

He added that everybody should avail of the free vaccination program because the government only wants the safety of its citizens.

Meanwhile, the city government still caters vaccination for first and second doses of all priority groups using the allocated Sinovac, AstraZeneca, Pfizer and Moderna brands.
