Flowers were laid at the Road Safety Memorial marker at the Provincial Capitol Lagoon and Park in Bacolod this morning, February 14, to commemorate their lives and raise awareness about the importance of road safety.

Road crashes are a serious issue that affect communities around the world as they cause injury, death, and emotional pain for families and loved ones of victims.

In the Philippines, motorcycle accidents have become a major concern, and are one of the leading causes of injury and death on the country’s roads. This is because the country has a high number of motorcycles on the roads, and many drivers and passengers do not wear helmets, increasing their risk of injury in the event of a crash.
