The requests of 3 cities in Negros Occidental to temporarily suspend the return of Locally Stranded Individuals (LSIs) was approved by the Western Visayas Regional Inter-Agency Task Force.

The moratorium signed by WV-IATF Chair Juan Jovian Enginiero covers the cities of Sagay in north and Bago & La Carlota in south.

For Bago City, the moratorium will begin tomorrow, November 26 and will last until December 5.

Meanwhile the city of La Carlota was granted a 2-week suspension from November 26- December 10.

These cities requested for a suspension to allow their local government to have enough time to decongest and disinfect their quarantine facilities in order to accommodate new batches of returning LSIs.
