“It is time to pick up the pieces of our lives. Slowly. Gradually.” This highlights the message of ATONLAND President and Chief Executive Officer Reynaldo Bantug as he announces the re-opening of Magikland.

Magikland closed its doors for eight months due to the pandemic, but ATONLAND never stopped taking care ofthe facilities, the rides, the structures, the people — confident that one day soon, the threat will come to pass, he said.

Say Hello to the new normal.

He added: “With patience and resolve, we keep track of how COVID-19 affected the lives of people all over the world. We follow how both global and local businesses have been crippled. Yet with determination and hope, we are confident that we shall cope with the standards of the ‘new normal’.”

On its official Facebook page, the management announces the re-opening of the park on November 14, at 50% capacity.

Bantug said the management all these time never stopped preparing and gearing up for the most awaited moment when they will again open the door of the park and welcome everyone to the new MAGIKLAND — Western Visayas’ first outdoor theme park.

Thank you for believing in our vision — to help spark the local economy with opportunities and challenges for all community sectors, he said.

Tourism officers inspect the Magikland last October.

The management assures their guests and visitors that their people and all service providers are now better equipped to cope with basic health emergencies — a strict protocol requirement for tourism facilities.
