Navimar Shipping, a local ferry company, hopes to open the new route by the end of January.

In a Facebook announcement, it said that the vessel is now ready for operation and they are just completing the necessary paperwork to commence their operation.

The ferry, which can accommodate up to 180 passengers, will dock at Tumanda Wharf/Sebaste, Sibunag Port-Paco Beach. It can also transport up to 16 motorbikes as well as regular freight.

Pending issuance of their permit to operate, the vessel has not release yet their schedule of trips and corresponding fare.
