Two minor earthquakes hit Sipalay City early this morning, January 11, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology reported.
The first quake with a magnitude of 2.7 was recorded at 4:18am, with 14 kilometers in depth at 09.88N, 122.49E – 013 km N 27° E of Sipalay.
An hour and 20 minutes later, PHIVOLCS instruments recorded a light quake with at magnitude 2.4 was recorded at 09.86N, 122.35E – 013 km N 44° W of Sipalay.
