The Commission on Elections (COMELEC) Bacolod City successfully registered 554 new voters on the first day of its satellite registration drive held at the Barangay Pahanocoy covered court last Saturday, February 17.
The COMELEC said it has scheduled a two-month satellite voter registration in various barangays and schools from February to April ahead of the May 2025 mid-term elections.
The next schedule will be in Banago Elementary School covered court, Barangay Banago on February 24, 2024, and at the barangay hall of Barangay Mandalagan on March 1.
The satellite registration program will continue until April 20, 2024. During the run of the satellite registration, there will be no regular registration at the COMELEC Bacolod office, the poll bureau said.
Regular voter registration at the COMELEC Bacolod office remains open until September 30, 2024.
