The city government of San Carlos has vaccinated a total of 469 children aged 5 to 11 years old with Pfizer vaccine during its 2-day launching of the Pediatric Vaccination program on February 18-19, 2022 held at the People’s Park Pavillion in Barangay. 3.
The Emergency Operations Center-Vaccine Cluster(EOC-VC) in coordination with the City Health Office (CHO) led said program where 301 children were vaccinated on its first day while 168 got the jabs on the 2nd day.
Children who availed the said vaccination were given free snacks and ice cream and entertained with free mini train ride and other surprises inside the park.
Raffle tickets were also distributed to the vaccinated children where 10 winners received one rabbit each.
Meanwhile, 47 adults have also availed their booster shots of Moderna and Pfizer brands during said event.
Said pediatric vaccination will continue next week February 26 and 27 and is set to have a regular Thursday vaccination schedule inside the People’s Park.
