The commumity of barangays Bayog and Lumapao and the city officials of Canlaon headed by Mayor Jose Chubasco Cardenas condemned the atrocities ruthlessly perpetrared by the CPP-NPA-NDF Terrorist by declaring them as Persona Non-Grata at Covered Court, Brgy Bayog, Canlaon City, Negros Oriental, recently.
In a simple activity, officials of the two villages made a symbolic signing of Barangay Resolution No. 36 series of 2020 and Resolution No. 19 series of 2020 declaring Communist Terrorist Group/New People’s Army as Persona Non-Grata.
The village heads also burned a CPP-NPA-NDF Flag as a sign of resistance.
The activity highlighted with “Pagsumpa para sa Kalinong (Oath for Peace)” led by the two (2) Punong Barangays Hon Guadioso T Olvido and Hon Xyrel T Bonganciso; “Panunumpa sa Katutom sa Republika sang Pilipinas” (Oath of Allegiance to Republic of the Philippines) led by Master Sergeant Fidel M Delara, Battalion Sergeant Major of 62nd Infantry (Unifier) Battalion, Philippine Army; Release of Doves spearheaded by Hon. Jose Chubasco B Cardenas; Prayer and Candle Lighting officiated by Pastora Hope M. Biasca, Trinity Christian Fellowship Church.
