Bacolod City, Negros Occidental— Despite the global pandemic which knocked out even big businesses, there is no stopping for Xilium Professional Services to expand its operations in Bacolod.

Xilium, an Iloilo-based BPO company that offers virtual medical assistance to clients has official opened its site in this city with Mayor Evelio Leonardia as their guest, yesterday, August 18 at the ground floor of La Luz Building on Lacson St. in Barangay Mandalagan.

Xilium Professional Services president and chief executive officer Vanessa Belleza said is their third branch in the country.

For her part, Belleza believes that Bacolod is “the best place” for Xilium’s expansion.

In response, Leonardia told the Xilium executives that the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry (PCCI) has consistently considered Bacolod among the most business-friendly cities in the country.

“We would like you to grow, because if you grow, Bacolod will also grow, if the city grows, we will all continue to grow,” the mayor stressed.
