NBI probes alleged abduction

The National Bureau of Investigation is conducting a separate investigation on the alleged abduction that took place in Lacson St last November 19, involving a woman.

In an interview over dyEZ, NBI Agent-in-Charge Renoir Baldovino said that the family of the victim, Novie Andico, has sought their help for the speedy resolution of the case and to locate the whereabout of the victim.

Acccording to the NBI they are now gathering more details about the case after they have secured the statement of Novie’s brother.

Aside from the abduction angle, the authorities is also looking at the possible angle related to illegal drugs.

Baldovino said that they have information that one of the persons closely associated with Novie is connected to a drug group.

It was last December 5 when the family of Andico confirmed that she was indeed the woman that was forced to board a white vehicle last Nov. 19.

The police has also re-open their separate probe after the family officially lodged a report about the incident.
