Former Presidential Spokesperson Harry Roque personally turned over yesterday, January 25, 100 sacks of rice as assistance to victims of supertyphoon Odette in Sipalay City.
Roque together with Victorias City Mayor Francis Frederick Palanca also turned over food packs to the typhoon victims.
Roque was met by Mayor Gina Lizares of Sipalay where they discussed the situation of the city during the wrath of Odette and how it affected thousands of families as well as damaged most establishments.
Lizares also had a chance to talk to DILG Secretary Eduardo Año via mobile phone and discussed typhoon responses of the National Government for the city.
