An elementary grader from Bacolod City is set to compete in the International Math Tournament in Singapore.
Theodore Aaron Tanpinco, a member of the Philippine Team for the 18th International Mathematics Competition (IMC – Singapore) is slated to compete on September 17, 2022.
The recommendation for Tanpinco’s inclusion into the Philippine Math Squad was made by the Mathematics Trainers’ Guild (MTG) Committee on Training and Development after his impressive performance in the 2022 Young Mathematicians’ In-House Summer Advancement Training Program.
Tanpinco previously bagged a gold at the Challenge for Future Mathematicians 2022. Other than this, the Bacoleño Math wizard had a bronze at the Hong Kong International Mathematical Olympiad 2022 Heat Round-Philippine Region.
Theodore also sings, swims and does art. He is the only child of Felix and Jen Tanpinco.
