The Department of Labor and Employment has released P19.9 million of Covid-19 Adjustment Measures Program 2 ( CAMP-2) to 3,977 workers in Negros Occidental.
The second batch of the cash assistance program were released last November after the funds under Bayanihan 2 was made available.
According to DOLE, Negros Occidental has the most number of beneficiaries in the second tranch which covered a total of 410 establishments.
Employees from these establishments were excluded in the CAMP 1 due to the lack of available fund.
Overall, DOLE was able to released P48,945,000.00 for the six provinces of the region.
