The Department of Foreign Affairs-Consular Office Bacolod (DFA) will accommodate up to 325 qualified/eligible walk-in applicants for passport application per week as it opens its Courtesy Lane.

In an email to Negros News Online, DFA-Bacolod said that it has started accepting walk-in applicants last March 15 and it has allotted the 1:00PM to 4:00PM slots for these qualified applicants. The agency said up to a maximum of 65 applicants will be processed within the 3-hour window period.

DFA explained that the cap of 65 applicants is implemented to accommodate applicants who have booked appointment slots during the same period.

Applicants who were able to secure their appointment schedules through dfabac.appointment@gmail.com, can come on their respective schedules, without the need to secure a queue number.

On the other hand, those who wish to appear earlier than scheduled will be required to secure a queue number.
