The Central Negros Electric Cooperative, Inc. (CENECO) has reduce its per kilowatt charge for residential consumers by P0.6913.
The price cut will bring down the rate to P10.0210/kWh, as compared to P11.5123/kWh in the previous month. The updated charges will take effect in March billing, according to CENECO.
CENECO said the adjustment was attributed to the net reduction in generation, transmission and system loss charges, as well as other pass-through charges such as Lifeline, Senior and VAT.
Despite the rale decrease for this billing month, CENECO Board and Management continue remind its electricity consumers to conserve energy to avoid paying high electricity bills.
