CENECO announces power outages from Sept 17-19

The Central Negros Electric Cooperative, Inc. announces today, September 15, its scheduled power interruption from September 17-19 due to series of maintenance activities to ensure stability of its distribution lines.

On Friday, CENECO said consumers in some portion of AGF5 will experience power interruption from 9am-3pm as it relocates one of its 40-ft, 3-phase primary concrete pole obstructing the proposed emergency entry of the Bacolod Adventist Medical Center (BAMC). It will also install C14 and C15 3-phase primary assemblies, and replace the 35-ft. steel utility pole for 1-phase primary assembly. Areas affected under AGF5 are: BAMC, Prk. Cosmos, Brgy. Taculing, Bacolod CitySF1 (portion only) front of Esteban Beach, Paraiso Beach, Barangay Hall, Rojas Beach, Pahila Village, Brgy. Pta. Taytay.

In Silay City, electric consumers from Brgy. Bagtic to So. Lantawan are notified of a long day outage, which will starts at 8am and will conclude at 4pm of September 17 as CENECO conducts a conversion of 64-span single-phase to 3-phase primary line and replacement of rotten poles for safety at Brgy. Bagtic.

Meanwhile on Saturday, September 18, electric consumers in the areas of BF3 (portion only), covering Patricia Homes Subd., Brgy. Estefania will experience power interruption from 9am-3pm as CENECO’s team is scheduled to replace its 4 30-ft. rotten open secondary poles and conducts tree clearing activities.

On Sunday, a 3-hour outage will be experienced by residents of AGF5 (portion only) covering Mirano St., including corner Miranno-Lopez-Jaena Sts., in Brgy. 28 as CENECO performs clearing activities and replacement of 1 30-ft. rotten pole.
