Mayor Evelio Leonardia requested the National IATF Thursday [Oct. 15] to de-escalate the community quarantine status of Bacolod City from GCQ to MGCQ effective October 16, 2020.
Leonardia cited the interventions that the City has undertaken under a centralized system of the Emergency Operations Center, which have resulted to a continuous decline of cases in Bacolod during the last two weeks.
Bacolod City has 10 new COVID positive cases and 107 new recoveries Thursday, Oct. 15. Of the 4,491 total cases, 3,854 or 85% have already recovered.
