Bacolod Vice Mayor catches COVID-19

Bacolod Vice Mayor El Cid Familiaran is currently on home quarantine after he was hit with COVID-19.

The vice mayor has been in self-isolation since Sunday, December 11, after suffering from a sore throat and a fever that reached 40 degrees on Sunday and Monday.

Familiaran had two booster shots against COVID-19.

His fever began to subside on Wednesday, December 14, but he said that  he will remain in home isolation.

Familiaran said that he has no idea where he contracted the virus because he was always mindful of basic health protocols and even continues to wear a mask.
