Consumers of the Central Electric Cooperative, Inc. (CENECO) in Bacolod City will experience power outage on September 23 and 24 as it conducts maintenance activities to ensure the stability of distribution lines and avoid further serious damages that will result in major interruptions.
In a statement, CENECO said that on September 23, from 7am to 3pm, the following areas will be affected:
Alijis Feeder 6 (AF6): Alijis Feeder 6 (AF6) Alijis Substation going to Girls Home, Corazon Aquino Drive (from Girls Home going to BCNHS including Garces Subd.), Bacolod City National High School, City Heights, BAC-UP 6, Espinos Village, Victorina Heights, Puentebella Subd., Rosario Heights, BM ACMA, Bakyas, JJ Gonzaga, Purity Home Owner’s Asso., CERES Motorpool, P & NB Subd., portion of Mansilingan, Brgy. Vista Alegre and BACIWA Vista Alegre Pumping Station, dead end of primary line at Taculing Elementary School, Prk. Kabulakan
Meanwhile, a 2-hour power interruption will be experienced in areas covered under Asdes-Gonzaga Feeder 2 (AGF2) from 7AM-11AM. This will cover the following areas:
Gonzaga Substation, Mabini St. (Gonzaga St. – San Sebastian St.), Luzuriaga St. (Mabini St. – Lacson St.), San Sebastian St. (Mabini St. – Lopez-Jaena St. & Mabini St. – Gatuslao St.), Lacson St (San Sebastian St. – Business Inn), Luzuriaga St. (Lacson St. – Gatuslao St.), Locsin St. (San Sebastian St. – Rosario St.), Libertad (from Taculing Road to Araneta), Mabini Street (San Sebastian to Lizares), Lizares Avenue (Lacson to UNO-R), Lizares Compound, NALCO Press, Araneta St. to Locsin St., Gatuslao St. (Libertad to San Sebastian), Planta Centro Bacolod Hotel & Residence, Cyber Center
On September 24, from 7am to 3pm, the following areas will be affected:
Reclamation Feeder 1 (RF1): Reclamation Feeder 1 (RF1) Prk. Boulevard, San Juan St., South Capitol Road (San Juan St. – Lagoon), BREDCO, Reclamation Area, Northdrive (from Puregold to Purok Tanigue, San Juan St.), Brgy.1 Cordova St., Sto. Niño Stop, Prk. Datiles. Gatuslao, Imperial Court going to North Drive, Crossing Lacson – BS. Aquino drive going to Puregold, Bacolod Ice Plant
Electricity consumers are advised to unplug all electrical appliances and facilities before the scheduled power outage. When electricity supply resumes, please provide an allowance of about 10-15 minutes before switching them on again to avoid power surge.
