The Bacolod City Police Office has reminded the public to strictly abide the implementation of the city’s curfew ordinance while we are still facing the pandemic.

Under the ammendments, BCPO spokesperson Lt. Col. Ariel Pico said violators of the ordinance will be fined P500 if he a resident of Bacolod, and P1,000 for non-residents.

Pico noted that despite of the constant reminders, the local police are still seeing violators of the ordinance almost every night.

He emphasized that while the city is still under the state of public health emergency, non-social period between 10PM-4AM must be strictly observed.

Aside from the strict observance of the curfew hours, the police are also running after those who violate the ordinance on the wearing of facemask and face shield.
