Cibo, a real and modern Italian café concept in Manila, debuts its first regional location in Ayala Malls Capitol Central today, March 9.

The mall in an announcement on its Facebook page said that Cibo is on its soft opening today, bringing its authentic Italian flavors to the City of Smiles. It is their 17th branch in the country.

Created by 2016 Asia’s Best Female Chef Margarita Forés, she opened her first CIBO, a modern Italian caffé-paninoteca, inspired by the mushrooming panino places in the cities of Milan and Rome in 1997. Since then, it has grown, proudly serving a wide range of authentic Italian dishes—antipasti, zuppe, insalate, paste, pizze, secondi piatti, dolci and bevande.

Despite, the economic slowdown brought by COVID-19, it continues to thrive at many locations, bringing this real, modern taste of Italy now to Bacolod as it celebrates its 24th anniversary.

Located just next to Starbucks, Cibo offers #CIBOPizzaRomana that gives you that delightful oven-fresh crunch with every bite. You may also sink your teeth into its brand new, vegetarian-friendly Artichoke & Spinach Pizza Ovale— topped with freshly sautéed artichokes, spinach, and mushrooms, with a delightfully light mix of cream, mozzarella and parmesan.

It will also be serving some brand new dishes this Lenten season, with its Cuaresma menu that is now available for dine-in, take out.

You may also treat yourself to its Tagliata di Manzo Rosmarino. And if you’re dining in, request for an extra serving of burrata for a whole new way to enjoy this CIBO classic!

Finally, if you want to re-energize your mid-week, take a seat and grab a cup of Lavazza Latte and pair it with a light CIBO Bruschetta for brunch.

Cibo is open from 10AM up until 7PM daily. Ciao and see you soon.
