The Office of Bacolod City Mayor Alfredo Abelardo Benitez has approved the request of the Bacolod Yuhum Foundation to close a portion of Lacson Street for the celebration of the MassKara Festival, starting October 16.
The mayor’s approval came after the festival organizers’ request was approved by the Bacolod City Council in its regular session.
Aside from the closure of Lacson Street, areas surrounding Bacolod City Public Plaza will also be closed every afternoon. Portion of Burgos Street will also be closed during the Electric MassKara parade.
