The Philippines’ leading airline Cebu Pacific (PSE: CEB) announces that majority of the destinations in its domestic network are already open for leisure travel.

To date, 21 out of the 33 destinations are already accepting vacationing guests. The list includes famous beach destinations such as Boracay, Bohol, Camiguin, Coron (point-to-point bubble tourism), Cebu, Dumaguete, Puerto Princesa (bound for El Nido and San Vicente only), and Siargao; along with destinations that boast of gastronomic adventures namely Clark, Manila, and Roxas.

“We are happy to share this update with everyJuan as we see more destinations in our country safely open up their borders. We firmly believe domestic tourism is the way to go – and we remain cautiously optimistic as we gradually ramp up our network to pave the way for domestic travel recovery,” said Candice Iyog, Vice President for Marketing and Customer Experience.

“We’ve said this before, and we want to say it again – making travel easier for the public will encourage them to fly during this time. On top of ensuring safe travels, we call on the industry to continue working together so we inspire more people to travel responsibly and fly easy,” added Iyog.

Cebu Pacific has been rated 7/7 stars by airlineratings.comfor its COVID-19 safety compliance as it continues to implement a multi-layered approach to safety, in accordance with global aviation standards. These include contactless procedures, thorough cleaning and disinfection protocols for all aircraft and facilities, mandatory wearing of masks and face shields for both passengers and crew, as well as Antigen testing for CEB frontliners before duty. On top of these, our aircraft are also equipped with hospital-grade HEPA filters with 99.99% efficacy, keeping viruses at bay.

To date, CEB has already vaccinated 100% of its active flying crew.
