Twelve vaccination centers are opening in Bacolod City tomorrow, May 14 to cater to eligible priority groups such as frontline healthcare workers (A1), senior citizens (A2), and persons with comorbidities (A3).
According to the city public information office these are 10 barangays and clustered barangays in addition to the existing vaccination center set-up in SM City and Ayala Malls.
The additional centers aims to facilitate faster rollout of another batch of AstraZeneca vaccines that arrived last May 11.
A total of 21 barangays and clustered barangays are scheduled to open their respective vaccination centers from May 14 to 21 for faster vaccine rollout.
The vaccination activities are being supervised by the Emergency Operations Center (EOC) and COVID-19 Vaccination Council (CoVaC), both chaired by Mayor Evelio Leonardia.
