The Bacolod Inter-Agency Task Force is currently tracing persons who were in close contact with 7 personnel of the National Bureau of Investigation in Aguinaldo Street who tested positive of COVID-19.
According to NBI Bacolod chief Renoir Baldovino the 7 personnel who tested positive are now in a quarantine facility in Bacolod. However, full operation of NBI was put to halt as advised by the city’s IATF.
Of the 7, six are clearance job order employees. No additional details were release if these JO employees are frontliners of the agency in the application and releasing of NBI clearance.
In an advisory posted outside its office, the bureau said that it will remain closed until Friday, January 22, for disinfection and to comply with the mandatory quarantine.
NBI has a total of 31 personnel and all were already tested last January 15 & 16.
NBI hopes to resume its operation on January 25. The closure resulted to delays in processing of clearance application at the same time releasing of clearances.
