The Women and Children Protection Desk of Police Precinct 8 filed a rape case against the suspect who allegedly raped her 6-year-old niece.
The complaint was filed after the City Health Office of Bacolod released its medical findings that the 6-year-old, whose name is being withheld, was confirmed to have been sexual abuse by his uncle. The medical findings also indicate that a barbeque stick was inserted in the genital of the minor.
The incident took place last December 13, 2020 when the child accompanied his uncle after the latter gave him P50.
However, police said the incident was only reported 13 days later. Currently, the 31-year-old suspect remains scot-free pending the issuance of an arrest warrant.
