Negros Power sets 12 hours outage on Sunday

Another power interruption is set this Sunday, June 29, as Negros Power implements a scheduled 12-hour power outage affecting as part of the company’s ongoing 5-year rehabilitation and modernization plan, aimed at preventing widespread power interruptions and enhancing the reliability of the electricity distribution system.

During the period, Negros Power will conduct tree wire reconductoring along a portion of AF2 on Magsaysay Avenue (a 1.1km tie-line), along with the replacement of pin insulators, installation of rubber inserts in the Barangay Singcang area, and tapping of the Sugarland lateral.

Affected Areas and Times:
6:00 AM to 6:00 PM (12 Hours)

Portion of AF2-A: From Magsaysay Road going towards the Barangay Singcang Airport area.

6:00 AM to 7:30 AM & 4:30 PM to 6:00 PM

Portion of AF2-B: From Alijis Substation going towards the portion of Magsaysay Avenue in front of Negros Farmers.

11:00 AM to 12:00 NN (1 Hour)

Portion of AF2-C: A section of Araneta Avenue from Goodyear going towards City Mall Goldenfields, Barangay Singcang Airport, Bacolod City.

Several other locations under the AF4 feeder will also experience outages during these times, including:

TRANSCOM, Bel-Air Subdivision, San Lorenzo Homes, Areas behind Alijis Substation, Alijis Road (from Alijis Substation to the Airport Terminal), cBacolod Memorial Park, Asian Alcohol, Sason Furniture, Jade Court II, VL Yap, Goodyear Teletech (Robinsons Metro), Lopue’s South Square, Ramylu Village, Woodstock Subdivision, John B. Lacson College, Pauline Village, and City Mall Goldenfields.
