A lucky resident of Negros Occidental struck gold on Wednesday night, January 8, bagging the P29.7-million Grand Lotto 6/55 jackpot.
The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) announced on Thursday that the winning ticket, bearing the lucky numbers 13-21-24-31-09-03, was purchased within the province.
While the lucky winner remains anonymous, the PCSO reminded them that they have one year to claim their prize at the agency’s main office in Mandaluyong City.
Aside from the jackpot winner, 56 other bettors each won P100,000 for matching five out of the six winning numbers. A total of 1,967 bettors will receive P1,500 each for correctly guessing four numbers, while 26,235 players will win P60 each for getting three numbers right.
The Grand Lotto 6/55 draws are conducted every Monday, Wednesday, and Saturday.
To claim the jackpot, winners are required to present two valid government-issued IDs and sign the back of their winning tickets.
