The Central Negros Electric Cooperative, Inc. (CENECO) will conduct a 12-hour power interruption this coming Saturday, July 6, to ensure the stability of distribution lines and prevent major disruptions in the future.
The scheduled outage will take place from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM. During this time, CENECO will conduct preventive maintenance and integrity testing of the 30MVA Asdes-Gonzaga Substation and its related equipment.
In addition, CENECO said their crew will also conduct correction of hotspots, testing, maintenance of feeder metering, replacement of damaged primary poles and tree clearing activities.
The following areas will experience power interruptions during the scheduled maintenance per CENECO advisory:
