PHINMA Property Holdings Corporation (PHINMA Properties) broke ground on Friday, July 19, for its P12 billion newest township project, “Saludad,” in Barangay Bata, Bacolod City.

The 21-hectare Saludad township is located along the Circumferential Road, the bypass road going to the Bacolod-Silay Airport. With the scenic mountains of Mt. Silay, Mt. Kanlaon and Mt. Mandalagan as it backdrop, it will offer a mix of residential areas, amenities, and commercial spaces, all designed with sustainability in mind.

The PHINMA Properties has partnered with JEPP Real Estate Co. and envisioned Saludad as a catalyst for Bacolod’s economic growth.

The mixed-use township will also feature retail center, attracting businesses and entrepreneurs.

It is expected to create new jobs and opportunities, fostering a flourishing business environment.

The business district will have 21 lots for commercial offerings and has a gross land area of 7.6 hectares, while the its residential development will offer 227 lots with a total land area of 9.4-hectare.

PHINMA Properties is strategically located along the Circumferencial Road and can be the next central business district of Bacolod.

Upon completion, Saludad has the potential to emerge as a new central business district within Bacolod, as highlighted by PHINMA Properties’ President and CEO, Raphael B. Felix. Notably, the project is situated just meters away from Rockwell’s development along the Circumferential Road.

PHINMA expects the first phase of the development to be completed by December 2025 and the second phase by 2028.

The project aligns with Mayor Alfredo Benitez’s vision of transforming Bacolod into a “supercity” – a city known for its high quality of life, robust work opportunities, and vibrant entertainment options.

Just recently Bacolod City’s dynamic economy has put the city in the Oxford Economics Global Index 2024.

“We are happy to be part of Bacolod’s journey to becoming a supercity through Saludad,” said Felix. Saludad’s residential developments, leisure amenities, and commercial spaces are expected to attract residents and contribute to the city’s overall growth.
