Metrobank’s Trust Banking Group has solidified its reputation for superior fund management, securing prestigious awards at the 10th Annual CFA Society Philippines’ Best Managed Funds of the Year Awards, themed “Vision 2025.” The awards recognized Metrobank’s exceptional performance in both peso- and dollar-denominated Unit Investment Trust Funds (UITFs) for the period spanning 2020 to 2024.
The “Vision 2025” awards highlighted fund managers who delivered the highest risk-adjusted returns, with this year’s edition introducing new categories focusing on global feeder funds, local money markets, and thematic funds.

Metro High Dividend Yield Unit Paying Fund: Awarded in the Equity Funds category.
Metro$ US Investment Grade Corporate Bond Feeder Fund: Recognized in the Global Fixed Income Feeder Fund category.
Metro$ Short Term Bond Fund: Honored in the Intermediate Term Bond Funds using pure FVPL valuation category.

The awards saw participation from approximately 16 investment houses and trust institutions, with 170 qualified funds evaluated across various categories. The CFAP Fund of the Year Committee conducted a rigorous assessment of investment data to determine the winners.
