The Mobile Kitchen (Biyahe Kusina), an initiative of the Provincial Government of Negros Occidental through the Technology Livelihood and Development Center (TLDC) was launched as part of the Negros Day celebration.
The mobile kitchen project is equipped with all necessary tools and equipment needed for food processing training, which aims to bring the food processing techno transfer right at the doorstep of every community in the rural areas within the province.
It also aims to provide easy access to LGU target clienteles on the demonstration/food processing trainings, provide medium to facilitate the transformation of unemployed individuals to become self-employed and be an entrepreneur, and empower small entrepreneurs thru capability support initiatives.
The training for self-employment/entrepreneurship shall be coordinated with Provincial PESO headed by Dr. Sharon Juance, Provincial TLDC Manager Gerard Tupas, LGU PESO and TLDC Coordinators.
Its target beneficiaries include all sectors but not limited to out-of-school youth, women, returnees (rebel and drug) LGBTQ, unemployed, distressed and disadvantaged individuals regardless of gender and age.
