Soon your favorite beef, pares, siomai, tempura and other food vendors with mobile kiosks around the Bacolod Cit y Government Center will be gone.
This after Bacolod City Mayor Albee Benetiz announced that the BCGC grounds will be cleared from presence of ambulant vendors.
The mayor explained that the presence of vendors on the BCGC grounds violates the conditions outlined in the deed of donation agreement between the local government and the Gonzaga family.
According to Benitez the city will be moving the vendors to a designated private property located behind the government center. It was unclear though if the use of space will remain at no cost.
