Bacolod City mourns loss of lineman Jessie James Torremocha

Bacolod City Mayor Alfredo Abelardo Benitez has expressed his deepest condolences to the family and loved ones of Jessie James Torremocha, a lineman who tragically lost his life while working for Negros Power Cooperative.

In a statement released today, the mayor commended Torremocha’s dedication and commitment to ensuring the stability of power services in the city. His sacrifice serves as a poignant reminder of the risks and responsibilities faced by those who work tirelessly for the betterment of their community, the mayor added in a statement posted on his FB page.

The mayor said his memory will live on as a testament to his unwavering commitment to his duties.

Torremocha now lies in state at The Rolling Hills Memorial Chapel, while arrangements are being made for the return of his remains to Davao City.
