His sacrifice serves as a poignant reminder of the risks and responsibilities faced by those who work tirelessly for the betterment of their community, the mayor added in a statement posted on his FB page.
The mayor said his memory will live on as a testament to his unwavering commitment to his duties.
Torremocha now lies in state at The Rolling Hills Memorial Chapel, while arrangements are being made for the return of his remains to Davao City.
