The Teresita L. Jalandoni Provincial Hospital in Silay City had halted its out-patient and vaccination services due to the spike in numbers of frontliners in quarantine due to COVid-19 exposure and infection.
In an advisory, the government-run hospital said it is limiting its admissions to extreme emergency cases only starting today, January 24.
All referrals must still be coursed through the One Hospital System via respective City or Municipal Health Office, the advisory added.
Meanwhile, the provincial Capitol building went through a thorough disinfection this morning after work was suspended for a period of one week due to COVID-19 cases.
Among the offices that were first disinfected was the Governor’s Office after Gov. Eugenio Lacson tested positive for the virus. The Capitol will be on limited operation until Thursday.
